JAKE OWEN FINISHES CMA FEST CONCERT LIVE ON THE BOBBY BONES SHOW
After inclement weather curtailed Jake Owen’s concert set at the 2013 CMA Music Festival, Premiere Networks personality Bobby Bones offered the Country star a way to make it up to fans. Yesterday morning on The Bobby Bones Show, Jake Owen and his band performed their entire concert set live on-air from the radio program’s Nashville studio.
Hundreds of thousands of fans tuned in to the broadcast, which was also streamed live on www.BobbyBones.com, to hear some of Owen’s biggest hits, including the multi-week #1 singles “Alone With You” and “Barefoot Blue Jean Night,” chart-topper “The One That Got Away,” and current Top 5 smash “Anywhere With You.” The American Country Awards Breakthrough Artist of the Year also previewed two brand new songs off his upcoming studio album produced by Joey Moi. Many of those fans took to social media to share photos of themselves watching the live stream or report they were late for work because they refused to leave their car radios and miss the performance. “The CMA did the right thing, they were trying to keep people safe,” said Jake Owen. “Of course, we were all a little bummed when the show was cut short. So for Bobby to invite me in to do something like this and show that kind of support really goes to show how much he cares! This was incredible!"

ACM LIFTING LIVES® & VANDERBILT KENNEDY CENTER ANNOUNCE 4th ANNUAL ACM LIFTING LIVES MUSIC CAMP TO TAKE PLACE THIS SUMMER IN NASHVILLE, TN
Country Superstars Lauren Alaina, Jerrod Niemann, Jake Owen, Love and Theft and Songwriter Dallas Davidson to Volunteer Time
ACM Lifting Lives® and the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities will partner again for the 4th Annual ACM Lifting Lives Music Camp, June 23--June 29, 2013, in Nashville, TN. Country artists Lauren Alaina, Jerrod Niemann, Jake Owen and Love and Theft, along with hit songwriter Dallas Davidson have graciously agreed to volunteer their time with the campers at various points throughout the week.
The Camp, a week-long residential program open to individuals with Williams syndrome, talented in music from around the nation, has a dual purpose of studying Williams syndrome while providing music enrichment through performance and education. ACM Lifting Lives funds the costs of the Camp in addition to providing scholarships to several campers, enabling the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center to advance its mission of improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families through research, training and service.
Campers will participate in a songwriting workshop and recording session, along with other music-oriented activities, culminating in a live performance with Jerrod Niemann on the world famous Grand Ole Opry.
Throughout the week, campers gain invaluable experience through visits from top-tier country music veterans. Prior camps have featured artist visits from Lauren Alaina, Gary Allan, Big & Rich, Kix Brooks, Luke Bryan, Brett Eldredge, Julianne Hough, Jana Kramer, Little Big Town, Eddie Montgomery, David Lee Murphy, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Carrie Underwood, Paul Worley, Wynonna and more. This year’s camp artist/VIP visits include:
Monday, June 24th – 9:00am-12noon: Songwriting Workshop with Dallas Davidson and Jerrod Niemann
Tuesday, June 25th – 5:00pm-7:00pm: Wildhorse Saloon with Lauren Alaina
Wednesday, June 26th – 9:00am-12noon: Recording Session with Jake Owen
Wednesday, June 26th - 5:30pm-7:00pm: Dinner & Karaoke with Love and Theft
