Jake Owen

WASHINGTON -- Jake Owen, a Grammy Award-nominated country music artist, will perform during the NAB State Leadership Conference Dinner, held Tuesday, March 2 in Washington, DC, courtesy of BMI. The NAB State Leadership Conference brings hundreds of radio and television broadcasters to Capitol Hill to meet with legislators and regulators on issues impacting free, local broadcasters.


Owen has enjoyed five consecutive hit singles since releasing his debut album, "Startin' With Me" in 2006. His second studio album, "Easy Does It," was also a success, with "Don't Think I Can't Love You" peaking at number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart in 2009. Owen made his national TV debut on ABC's "Good Morning America" and has spent the past three years touring with some of the biggest names in Country Music. He has received several nominations for Country Music Association (CMA) Awards and was named "Top New Male Vocalist" at the Academy of Country Music Awards in 2009.
