Rockin' & Raising The Green
“ROCKIN’ & RAISING THE GREEN” ON NOV. 1, 2011 WITH COUNTRY’S JAKE OWEN
“ROCKIN’ & RAISING THE GREEN BENEFITING EVERGREEN” with country’s Jake Owen will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at the Wildhorse Saloon. The event is hosted by HGTV’s Shane Tallant, along with funny man Gary Jenkins & DJ Mindub.
Evergreen (www.epmi.org) is a national leader across seven states serving people with developmental disabilities. This fundraiser will be Evergreen’s debut in Nashville to showcase their services of advocating for those who cannot advocate for themselves. The services provided by Evergreen are invaluable.
ROCKIN’ & RAISING THE GREEN will be an evening of high energy & lots of laughs. Doors open at 6pm. Tickets go on sale September 24, 2011 at 11 am at www.wildhorsesaloon.com.
Jake Owen just celebrated the No. 1 debut of his third album Barefoot Blue Jean Night. The title track and first single off the album also reached the No. 1 spot on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and Country Aircheck. Fans can catch Jake live out on the road on Keith Urban’s Get Closer 2011 World Tour.
Shane Tallant is a two-time EMMY winning host and journalist, most well known for his role on HGTV’s 'Designed to Sell'. Shane has recently been tapped as special correspondent for EXTRA at the 2011 CMT Awards. With over 12 years of hosting and reporting experience, Shane is known for his quick wit and engaging personality.
The mission of Evergreen is to help individuals with disabilities, “build better lives.” Evergreen serves people in the following six states: Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kentucky and Tennessee. Evergreen’s operating budget is $58M and they serve approximately 1,060 individuals and have approximately 1,800 employees.
