Barefoot Blue Jean Night Video Premiere!
TODAY CMT WORLD PREMIERES THE MUSIC VIDEO FOR JAKE OWEN’S SUMMER ANTHEM “BAREFOOT BLUE JEAN NIGHT”
Nashville, TN – CMT hosts the world premiere of the music video for Jake Owen’s hit single “Barefoot Blue Jean Night” today. The video was added into heavy rotation on CMT and the clip will be featured during CMT’s Top 20 Countdown on Friday, July 1 at 11 a.m. ET. The video can also be viewed at www.cmt.com.
“Barefoot Blue Jean Night” is quickly becoming the summer anthem of 2011 and the music video certainly matches the feel of the song. The video features Jake wake boarding and hanging out on his boat with friends on Center Hill Lake, just outside of Nashville.
“This video shows what I do when I’m not on stage,” says Jake. “I grew up in Florida so wake boarding and hanging out with my friends on the water is something I’ve done my entire life. There definitely wasn’t any acting going on at the shoot. Those are really my friends you see in the video and we shot everything in one day. The scenes are as realistic as it gets and that is the way I wanted it. I feel like this song and this video truly represent who I am.”
